Employees at the University of Pittsburgh can earn the Mental Health Champion Certificate in three virtual sessions.

The certificate program, designed to give faculty and staff the knowledge and skills to promote mental well-being on campus, was one of 14 projects sponsored by Pitt’s Year of Emotional Well-Being.

Participants must attend all three course sessions in sequential order to earn the certificate:

  • June 27, Supporting Student Mental Health and Responding to Crisis
  • July 11, Promoting Culturally Responsive Care on Campus
  • July 25, Increasing Student Well-Being and Promoting Flourishing

Along with learning to increase well-being and support students, the program is an opportunity for faculty and staff to connect with fellow mental health advocates and resources across campus.

Pitt will hold an in-person Capstone Celebration for participants who complete all three courses. Enroll by June 23.
