Submit Your Short Video to the One-Minute Film Festival

The University’s Center for Creativity invites submissions for its One-Minute Film Festival (OMFF) which it created to offer a platform for visual storytelling to anyone in the Pitt community.

The OMFF is open to all forms of expression through moving imagery, including narrative shorts, documentaries, experimental and music videos, and others. Deadline for submission is noon, Monday, Nov. 2.

For inspiration and tips, the Center for Creativity will host writer and filmmaker Chad Brown to lead a Zoom screenwriting workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 5:30 p.m. To attend, submit your one-page screenplay to creative [at] pitt.edu by midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

From Nov. 3 to 5, all submitted films will be made available for online viewing, and viewers will have the opportunity to vote for the Audience Choice Award. Award winners will be announced at the One-Minute Film Festival exhibition on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.
