Submit Your Project to the ACCelerate Smithsonian Creativity and Innovation Festival

The Office of the Provost is looking for exhibition-ready innovative projects to be showcased at the ACCelerate Smithsonian Creativity and Innovation Festival, held in Washington, D.C., on April 8-10, 2022, at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. The festival is a gathering of all institutions included in the Atlantic Coast Conference to celebrate creativity and innovation. In previous years the event has drawn over 30,000 visitors.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit engaging and compelling projects with supporting media that demonstrate research and teaching impacts and have the potential to attract visitors. Projects will be evaluated based on completion, readiness and potential to actively engage the festival audience. Participants will be expected to travel to the Smithsonian to present their exhibit at the festival; all travel and transportation costs will be covered by the Office of the Provost. See some of the past Pitt projects featured at the festival.

Submit your proposal by July 12.
