Dean of Students Search Commences with Community Forums

Following the announcement that the University of Pittsburgh will be broadening its strategy around Student Affairs, a new dean of students search has launched.

The search will begin with a series of forums where members of the Pitt community—including students, faculty, staff and alumni—can share input and feedback about the role and the type of person who would be successful. Pitt students and community members are invited to the following forums:

Dean of Students Search Forum with Students
Open all Pitt students.
Wednesday, March 10, 7-8 p.m.
Additional information available on the University Events Calendar.

Dean of Students Search Forum with Pitt Community
Open to all members of the Pitt community including faculty, staff and alumni.
Friday, March 12, 1-2 p.m.
See registration information on University Events Calendar.

A separate forum will be held for Student Affairs staff members.

University community members are invited to share feedback via the Dean of Students Search Community Survey. The survey includes a place to nominate potential candidates. The search website will be updated with additional information as the search progresses.
