Deadline Extended for Pitt Three Minute Thesis

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is an academic competition that challenges PhD students to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.

Pitt’s 2021 3MT Competition will be a virtual event and is now open to all eligible PhD students in all schools. The deadline for presentation submission has been extended to Sunday, March 28.

Three winners will receive grants which can be used for travel or research expenses in the amounts of $500 or $1,000.
