Sharing Stories of Pitt’s Impact with Harrisburg—Virtually

The top of the Pennsylvania state Capitol building
Today, instead of loading buses in Pittsburgh, Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown and Titusville to make the early morning journey to the state Capitol, students, faculty, staff and alumni advocates logged online for the first-ever virtual Pitt Day in Harrisburg.

The annual day of advocacy, co-organized by the Office of Community and Governmental Relations and the Pitt Alumni Association, gives University supporters an opportunity to engage with their elected legislators and share their stories about why state funding is crucial for Pitt. (If you didn’t get to participate in Pitt Day in Harrisburg but would like to support the University by communicating with elected officials about Pitt’s accomplishments, goals and needs and other activities, sign up to be a Pitt Advocate.)
