Beginning the week of March 20, 2023, The Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub will offer expanded vaccination services to University of Pittsburgh community members and the public, alongside other upgrades to better serve the community.

Conveniently located on Fifth Avenue at the base of Nordenberg Hall and accessible by several Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) bus lines, The Hub offers connections to health care and services for the University community and its neighbors.

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are always available for everyone. Expanded adult vaccinations will be offered starting the week of March 20, including:

  • Shingles (adults)
  • Pneumococcal (adults)
  • Tetanus (adults)
  • Mpox (adults)
  • Flu (currently 3+)
  • High-dose flu (65+)
  • COVID-19 primary series and bivalent boosters (currently 3+)

Later this year, employees will be able to access travel vaccinations and consultations, as well.

Faculty and staff who are UPMC Health Plan members through the University can also earn up to $80 in Wellness Incentives, including one biometric screening per year. Starting the week of March 20, the Hub will offer an easy, convenient way to take advantage of this employee benefit. Learn more about biometric screenings at The Hub.

Need a local primary care physician? The Hub can help get you connected there, too.
