Staff volunteers are needed for Winter Commencement

Graduates walk down an orange hallway

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking volunteers for its first Winter Commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. Dec. 17.

Going forward, a winter ceremony will recognize undergraduate and graduate students who earn their degrees between May and December, while the spring ceremony will remain for undergraduates who complete their graduation requirements between January and April.

Volunteer shifts are from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Workers will help register and direct the class of 2023 before the event begins and are welcome to stay to watch the ceremony.

Register now. For more information and updates, visit commencement.pitt.edu.
