Calling all students: Volunteer at Pitt Arrival

A volunteer in a blue shift pushes moving carts

Help welcome new students to the University of Pittsburgh when you apply to volunteer with Pitt Arrival.

Student volunteers and supervisors will assist students and their families as they move into residence halls by staffing cart rental stations, helping students activate their IDs, carrying boxes, coordinating short-term parking and more. Both positions require a total commitment of 12 hours, completed across three four-hour shifts.

Students looking for more responsibility may consider applying for a student assistant coordinator position, which will be assigned to a Pitt Arrival Coordinator throughout Pitt Arrival. Some responsibilities include training volunteers and supervisors and ensuring they are aware of their duties before each shift.

All positions require no previous experience. Move-in is Aug. 20-25. Apply to volunteer.
