Do you want to learn more about space research at the University of Pittsburgh? Have an idea for collaboration?

To develop a more coherent and comprehensive space research program at Pitt, a team of researchers is offering faculty seminars designed to describe existing and proposed research and to discuss possible collaboration opportunities. The seminars will be followed up with half-day workshops to discuss proposal development.

The Pitt Space Research initiative team includes Rob Cunningham, vice chancellor for research infrastructure; Alan George, R&H Mickle Endowed Chair of the Pitt’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Michael Ramsey, professor of geology; and William Wagner, distinguished professor of surgery, chemical engineering and bioengineering.

The next collaboration seminar is from 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 17.
