Friday’s Self-Care Fair is your destination for relaxation

On Friday, April 21, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the William Pitt Union Plaza and lawn will transform into the Self-Care Fair, a relaxation and wellness destination.

The fair, sponsored by the Year of Emotional Well-Being committee, the University Counseling Center, Student Health Services and Campus Recreation, provides tangible opportunities for self-care during a stressful time in the semester.

At the event, students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to get creative, practice gratitude and self-encouragement, play games and snag self-care-related giveaways.

“The Self-Care Fair serves as not only a way for the Pitt community to relax, recharge, and have some fun before finals week but also to wrap up and celebrate the Year of Emotional Well-Being,” said Bernadette Smith, associate director of outreach for the University Counseling Center.

The William Pitt Union Ballroom will serve as a rain location.
