Each year at the Community Engaged Scholarship Forum (CESF), the University of Pittsburgh elevates, celebrates and reflects on its collective approaches to community engagement work. Members of the Pitt community and beyond can present their work, discover new partnership avenues, network and celebrate the University’s commitment to community engagement on March 5.

The 2024 theme is Progress Through Partnerships: Beyond a Thousand Points of Light. The individual efforts of teams and communities have resulted in shining examples of what engaged scholarship makes possible, but society requires increasingly interconnected approaches to problem solving. This year, CESF will showcase the multipliers and multisolvers in our communities — and explore what those terms mean.

In addition to hosting workshops and poster sessions, winners will be honored at CESF for the 2024 Partnerships of Distinction, the Soska and Wilds Outreach and Engagement Leadership and the CESF Collaboration Champion awards.
