Chancellor Joan Gabel has announced the initiation of the search for the next provost and senior vice chancellor at the University of Pittsburgh.

As part of this process, there will be open forums for all members of the University community — including alumni and friends — to share their input. The forums will be held remotely at noon on Friday, Oct. 27, and at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Faculty and staff can also attend their respective listening sessions to provide thoughts about the role. The faculty session will take place at 2 p.m. Oct. 31. The staff session will take place at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

The community is also invited to share feedback about the next provost through a survey. Connection information for both forum sessions and list of search committee members is available on the search website.
