Celebrate 10 years of the Pitt Innovation Challenge on Oct. 11

The Cathedral of Learning

For the 10th annual Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh), six teams of Pitt researchers have developed innovative solutions to challenging health problems that range from aneurysms to dry eye disease.

At this year’s final PInCh event, they’ll make their pitches to a panel of judges, who will award up to $555,000 in prize money. One-year project awards range from $35,000 to $100,000, and each winning team will also receive support to execute a 12-month project.

Pitt’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute will also look back on the groundbreaking devices and therapeutics, preventative clinical interventions, transformative community programs and other health innovations from PInCh over the years.

Register to attend the final pitch event from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Petersen Events Center. Free parking will be available at the OC Lot, 3505 Allequippa St., Pittsburgh, PA, 15219.
