Students, educators, community leaders and political advocates will gather at the 2024 Latinx Connect conference to envision ways to empower and support thriving futures for diverse Latinx communities at local, national and global levels.

Participates will dialogue on what it means to thrive as the largest pan-ethnic group in the U.S. Attendees will also discuss how Latinx intersects with other identities — including Afro, Indigenous, queer and undocumented — particularly in areas such as education, public health, arts and history.

Latinx Connect is organized and sponsored by Pitt’s Center of Ethnic Studies Research. Visit the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion page to submit a session proposal, stay up-to-date with scheduled events and register for free.
