Register for the Humanities @ Work conference on March 29

Pitt students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a free interdisciplinary humanities conference from the Department of Linguistics.

Humanities @ Work in the Community, Health and Tech Industries will feature expert discussions on various topics, including working across disciplines, social determinants of health, humanities in technology and healthcare, capacity building, and student success beyond graduation.

The department’s sixth cross-disciplinary event emphasizes the importance of the humanities and the crucial role they play in fostering engagement, empowerment and a passion for learning in the community, health and technology industries.

Humanities @ Work is 9 a.m.-5:15 p.m. March 29 at the University Club. Registration is required.
