Attend Pitt’s signature Women’s History Month event on March 29

Frick Fine Arts Building

Pitt will bring together storytellers from across the University and Pittsburgh to share true, personal stories that explore womanhood at the HerStory Slam on March 29.

The University’s signature Women’s History Month event will explore the breadth, depth and diversity of being and becoming a woman. All women are welcome to submit their story about a pivotal moment in their identity.

Submit your story by March 15; a committee will review submissions by March 17. Narratives should be roughly three minutes long and can take the form of prose, song or poetry. Those whose stories are selected will be asked to attend a storytelling workshop and rehearsal the week of March 20.

Register to attend the event and reception at 6 p.m. March 29 at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium and Cloisters (pictured). Light refreshments will be served.
