Chancellor Joan Gabel has announced the initiation of the search for the next provost and senior vice chancellor at the University of Pittsburgh.

As part of this process, there will be sessions for faculty and staff to provide their thoughts about the role. The faculty session will take place at 2 p.m. Oct. 31. The staff session will take place at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

An open forum, where all members of the community — including alumni and friends — can provide input at 1 p.m. Oct. 31.

Connection information for all sessions, as well as a list of search committee members, is available on the search website. The community is also invited to share feedback through a survey.
