Jill Stemple was selected for the Center for Health Care Strategies’ (CHCS) Medicaid Pathways Program. The Master of Public Policy and Management candidate in Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs was one of 20 selected for the center’s executive training initiative.

Stemple is also an executive policy specialist for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. During the nine-month program, she will engage in individual and group coaching sessions with other rising Medicaid agency leaders from across the country.

Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and led by CHCS, the Medicaid Pathways Program aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge and to facilitate the development of senior leaders, with a focus on supporting more diversity in Medicaid leadership positions to reflect the communities it serves. Individuals chosen to participate in the Class of 2024 represent 15 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
