Alison Linares Mendoza, a senior studying industrial engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, spent her summer working for Daher as part of the Young Eagles Internship Program, which identifies and engages promising future leaders of the general aviation sector.

Along with eight week in the engineering division at its headquarters and production facility in France, Linares Mendoza supported Daher’s presence at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The hands-on work and connections made during her industry experience confirmed Linares Mendoza's pursuit of a career in aeronautics. She said she is grateful for the well-rounded industrial engineering program in Pitt’s Swanson School of Engineering and her mentors, which have prepared her for opportunities like this one.
