Raman Venkataramanan received the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Distinguished Investigator Award

Raman Venkataramanan, professor of pharmaceutical sciences and pathology at the University of Pittsburgh, earned the 2024 Distinguished Investigator Award from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).

Also director of the Clinical Pharmacokinetics Laboratory and associate director of therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Venkataramanan is recognized for his expertise in and contributions to the field of pharmacology.

An active clinician, Venkataramanan’s research focuses on the effects of medications used to treat transplant patients. He is the current editor of the American Journal of Analytical Chemistry and serves on the editorial board for both Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.
