Program Description:

The NPPTL research program performs applied research in support of the NPPTL and NIOSH PPT program mission.  Projects in the area of respiratory protection primarily support research of technologies to protect workers from inhalation hazards.  The research portfolio consistently includes multiple projects in respiratory protection.  Other research areas include human performance, protective clothing and ensembles, and sensor technology.
