This graph shows relationship between blood pressure and insulin resistance. You see that any relationship that exists between insulin resistance and blood pressure seems to be explained by the structural and functional abnormalities of capillaries. Low capillary density perhaps consequent upon defects in angiogenesis as well as low responsiveness to acetyl choline vasodilatation are associated with both hypertension and insulin resistance.
