Show them how to take a deep breath and relax. Make this an active participation with the class

Instruct them to take care of themselves. Begin an exercise program start to walk, eat more nutritious foods try something you normally would not try experiment with different foods. Remind them they will begin to taste foods again!

  • Avoid stressful situations especially the first few weeks.
  • Avoid being bored, stay busy.
  • Remind them to stay positive.  

Ask them to establish one other person they can call for support, especially during stressful times.
