The rediscovery of the child, as a part of the new tendencies, was based on several premises. First that it was necessary to find its rigthful place within the social framework. The model was that of the familiy among the well-to-do social classes where the child was protected and developed at school and not in a factory. This point of view had great repercussions as, for the first time in history, it was understood that all children should return to their rightful place, the home and the familiy, and their lives, literally speaking, was priceless.
