“The BA Supercourse represents the collection of over 1,000,000 PowerPoint academic lectures categorized into the disciplines of Science. Educators borrow slides to improve their teaching. Our goal is to give the scientists lectures they need to improve their research and training”

We developed this beta version of the Scientific Supercourse by scouring the web to find all .ppt and .edu files in science. We used an existing classification scheme of academic disciplines to categorize the different disciplines of science. We made the lectures available in familiar formats such as for google searching or Yahoo browsing. Finally we have established a demonstration of a personalized scientist quality control system.
