This is a draft of how the ratings of lectures in the Scientific
Supercourse will appear. In
addition to the customized rating, we will employ utilization as the
number of hits
measures, in some ways the utilization measures are like the NYTimes
best seller list in that it will help scientists to know that
certain lectures are used 100 times a year by educators to teach.
The major point is that there is no “one size fits all”
measures of quality. We want to provide several options to the
scientists to help them quickly find the slides and lectures to
which they want to us.
