Prevalence of Abnormal
Glucose Tolerance by Age
Prevalence of diabetes increased with age. Prevalence of
diabetes over 70 years old age was the highest, 38.0% in
men and 42.5 % in women. Prevalence of IGT increased to
the age of 50-59 in men and 60-69 in women. Total prevalence
of abnormal glucose tolerance increased with age.
