What do Engineers do?

Engineers use math and science principles to solve real world problems. They come up with innovative and unique ways to meet an end goal. They work for companies and solve problems that require technological, mathematical, and scientific knowlegde. Some work with the government to make cities and towns more sustainable and efficent. Engineers fix everyday problems and ensure they are doing so in a timely, cost efficent, and smart manner.

In the industry,there is a variety of career paths you can go down with engineering. Some engineers work for corporations. Some are employed by the government. Others are independent or start their own companies. An engineering degree can take you extremely far. They link scientific discoveries and the specific needs of people to ocme up with solutions.

Environmental Engineering

Environmental Engineers work to help our changing and growing environment. CLimate change is a huge issue in our society. Especially with the current government, not much is being done to help it. Environmental engineers are extremely important because they face these issues and work to solve them. They use history, science, and math, to try to find more about our environment and what is going on.

Environmental Engineers often take real data from the environment to learn more about it. This intrigues me because I like the outdoors. To be able to travel and work in different environments is ideal to me. They work in the real world.
