Much is written about the health state of persons who are homeless from a medical perspective. We know that poverty in general and homelessness in particular are social determinants of health / illness, resulting in increased morbidity and premature mortality. However, seldom are the voices heard of those who experience homelessness themselves and who are seen here as the experts of their lives
