Septic Navicular Bursitis is the infection of the navicular bursa and most commonly occurs as a result of foreign body penetration through the middle, and sometimes palmar third of the solar surface of the foot. The distal interphalangeal joint can occur as an extension of the infection from the navicular bursa.
