vets in the US do not report equine encephalites. If a racehorse in Florida
or Louisiana was reported for encephalitis that would be bad for business,
and the vet might lose his client. However, the PanAmerican Health Organization (PAHO) gave an archive on equine (pp 209-211) & human disease (pp 215-217) in Venezuelan Encephalitis, Sci Pub # 243 in 1972. |
