The Panther Grappling Club had its first ever dual meet against the CMU Grappling Club. The event was called Oakland Throwdown hosted on April 2, 2006 in Trees Hall. Everyone fought very well, and the meet was a great success. Below are the results.

3. Xander Veerhoff (CMU) defeated James Beach (Pitt) by submission.
4. Matt Erdosy (Pitt) defeated Hanyan Wang (CMU) by submission.
5. Bryce Lee (CMU) defeated Jake McBride (Pitt) by submission.
6. Bryan Ovalle (CMU) defeated Josh Cannon (Pitt) by submission.
7. Randy Jones (CMU) defeated Pat Daley (Pitt) by submission.
8. Drew Yao (CMU) defeated Paul Lewandowski (Pitt) by submission.
