Information for Instructors

A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) is now available for instructors.

The following information is available:
  • For comments, ideas, exercises, tasks, suggestions, and tips from instructors, look over the Instructors' Forum pages.
  • Before writing a complete research paper, your students may benefit from writing a brief paper with just a couple of citations. Here is an assignment instruction for a brief academic paper.
  • Here is a grading sheet which instructors can use for preliminary or final drafts of research papers.
  • You may want to track the progress of your students by using this progress sheet or one like it.
  • A handout that students can be given at the beginning of term lists the due dates for the term for each step in writing the paper and gives some additional instructions at the top of the page.

Instructors' suggestions and comments are very welcome and can be posted at the site's Instructors' Forum.

The Microsoft Word macro ExCon that converts exercises from a Word document into HTML (Web) is now available (free of charge).
