RESEARCH PAPER (RP) SCHEDULE
1. In this course, the research paper activity emphasizes the process of producing a paper, not a long final product. Therefore, the text of the preliminary and final drafts of the research paper must be no more than 6 pages long (double-spaced typing; not counting cover page, thesis and outline page, and bibliography page). The RP grade is based on all assignments in the process, as listed below (not just on the final draft).
2. The whole paper (except for a few quotations) MUST be written in the STUDENT’S OWN WORDS. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
3. The sample draft, preliminary draft, and final draft should be typewritten.
4. For any steps that you revise, hand in all the earlier drafts with the revised one.
