Every year World Health Day is
dedicated to create awareness of a specific health theme and to
highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.
It is an opportunity to focus world wild attention to one essentially
important aspect of global health. This year April 7, World Health Day
marks the important of the safe hospitals around the world. The motto of
this year campaign is:
“Hospitals Safe from Disasters: Reduce Risk, Protect
Health Facilities and Safe Lives”
The focus of this year campaign is on
the safety of facilities and the readiness of health workers to respond
effectively to the people needs.
