Internet is a very shapable engine for the scientific discipline which is called “medical informatics”. This discipline uses Internet among others as one of the possible communication tools for realization so called telematics projects.

The word “telematics” (resp. “telemedicine”) means the usage of advanced communication tools in medicine.
