Of course many steps had to be made before the Congress could be opened.

Firstly the information about a congress was sent via e-mail to the medical electronic conferences and to the medical Internet clubs. Secondly the WWW server was built up. Thirdly each participant sent the registration via e-mail to the e-mail address of the Congress secretariat. Fourthly the abstracts of posters were sent via e-mail to the organizing committee. After the confirmation of committee each of the active participants prepared the poster in the html code which is used by WWW service. Each participant obtained the user account on the Web server and moved the poster into this server via ftp service.

Then the Congress could be opened. Participants used WWW service both for browsing lecture or/and posters and for discussion.

Several weeks later all active participants and members of INABIS received the CDROM with proceedings.
