An article published in Diabetes Care “21(9):1414-1431”, by
Hilary King et al provided estimates on diabetes prevalence for
the years,1995, 2000, and 2025 for people aged 20 years and
above, using previous studies and the United Nations population
estimates and projections. Some estimates for the Arab
countries are shown and they clearly indicate the magnitude of
the problem.
