Allocations
The Allocations Committee is in charge of distributing the 2.3 million dollars collected from the Student Activities Fee to the 350-plus student organizations at Pitt. The members of the Allocations Committee are appointed liaisons to these student organizations, by which they serve as a communications link with assigned organizations and interpret and enforce policies and procedures. All Allocations members are required to hold five office hours per week in the Student Government Board office (848 William Pitt Union) during which they are available to answer any questions regarding the Allocations process.
Interested in finance? Want to be part of the business end of SGB? Make sure to pick up an application for the Allocations Committee, available in November.
