Fellowships

::: visiting fellowships
are offered to philosophers of science in all fields. Visiting Fellows come to the Center to pursue their research projects for a term or a year.

::: postdoctoral fellowships
are offered to philosophers of science within five years of their doctorates. Postdoctoral Fellows come to the Center to pursue their research projects for a two-term academic year.

::: senior visiting fellowships
are offered to senior scholars in philosophy of science who wish to spend an academic year in the Center.

Other ways to participate

::: resident fellowships
are offered to interested faculty at the University of Pittsburgh who work in philosophy of science.

::: associateships
are offered to interested scholars with expertise in philosophy of science from Pittsburgh and the surrounding region.

::: wagner fellowship in philosophy of risk
was offered to a philosopher of science in the academic year 2011-2012. The Wagner Fellow resides in Pittsburgh and works in the Center.
