Courses for Non-majors:
Because of HPS's interdisciplinary nature, most courses are of interest to and can be taken by students who are not majoring in HPS. Two upper-division courses are designed for undergraduate majors (1702, 1703) and may be taken only by them. Almost all HPS courses fulfill some General Education Requirements either in philosophy, history, social science, or natural science. Students should consult the CAS Student Guide for details. Upper-level courses are sometimes cross-listed with graduate courses. All courses are three credits unless otherwise indicated. For descriptions, see the CAS Course Descriptions newspaper.
