Virginia Lucas. Uruguay. Professor of literature, poet and editor. MA in Latin American Literature (UDELAR) with a thesis entitled "Gioconda con bigotes: montaje en Alejandra Pizarnik." She is a researcher and the coordinator of the Queer Academic Area in Montevideo. She organized the Primer Encuentro sobre Diversidad Sexual and the Primer Encuentro de Investigadores LGBT del Mercosur (Montevideo, 2008). Her latest publication is a compilation with Diego Sempol: Orsai: género, erotismo y subjetividad (2008).
