Tamara Adrián. Caracas, Venezuela. Trans activist and human rights lawyer. Law professor at the University of Caracas. A transgender woman and attorney, she is general director of the firm Adrián & Adrián Abogados Consultores in Caracas. She has worked with LGBT organizations in her country and litigated before the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela. She has also published widely on gender issues and human rights. She has been honored with the Order Luis María Olaso for Human Rights Defenders.
