SUNCHASERMINE

| PHOTOS OF MY SUNCHASER |  WHEEL WELL REPAIR  |

The story about my Toyota Celica GT Sunchaser, Gromit. I purchased him in late February 1998, and have been doing the necessary repairs to bring him back to near-original condition. To aid me in my effort, I purchased a 1981 Toyota Celica GT automatic for $100. This was a real deal, as the only major problem the car had was that A) the head and carburetor had been removed in preparation for repairs and B) the owner had abandoned it for 10 months. I have stripped nearly all of the interior components (dashboard, trim, trim panels, seats, steering column, gearshift console, etc.) and everything in the engine compartment but the block (22R). I will continue to remove items (doors, steering/suspension components, wheels etc.) until there is little more than a shell remaining. At this point I would like to say thanks to my fiancé's family for recognizing what a unique car this is and letting me store all the parts in boxes above the garage. I do plan on keeping all of the duplicate parts for future repairs.
