The call for nominations for the annual Chancellor’s Distinguished Awards, honoring faculty members, is now open. The awards promote excellence and innovation across the breadth of the University.

Members of the Pitt community are also invited to submit a nomination to recognize excellence in the mentoring of research doctoral students. The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring consists of a cash prize of $2,500 to graduate faculty members. Up to four awards will be made each year. All letters of nomination are due by Friday, Oct. 15.
