Students Pursuing Pre-Med are Invited to Meet with Current School of Medicine Students

Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences students interested in a future career as a medical doctor are invited to participate in a new partnership between the Dietrich School's Academic Advising Center and the Pitt Med Advisory Council (PMAC).

PMAC members are current University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine students who were previously pre-med students here at Pitt. PMAC's mission is to encourage the advancement of any undergraduate interested in pursuing a career as a medical doctor.

To fulfill that goal, PMAC members are hosting live virtual question and answer sessions to share their experiences and help undergraduates on the pre-med track make the most of their time at Pitt.

Appointments are offered during the evenings and weekends and take place over Zoom. Each session is limited to five participants and requires registration.

To register for a session, visit the Academic Advising Center's calendar page and select the date and time that works for you. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link to attend the session.

More appointments will be added throughout the next few weeks so check back often!
