Mark your calendars for upcoming town halls where you can learn the latest news and get your questions answered about the University’s fall planning. If you can’t attend virtually, recordings will be made available following the events.

Faculty Town Hall

Thursday, July 23, 4-5 p.m.

Panelists include Ann E. Cudd, provost and senior vice chancellor; Cynthia Golden, associate vice provost and executive director of the University Center for Teaching and Learning; Mark Henderson, vice chancellor and chief information officer; Geovette Washington, senior vice chancellor, chief legal officer and executive sponsor of the Resilience Steering Committee; and John Williams, director of the COVID-19 Medical Response Office. Chris Bonneau, professor of political science and president of the University Senate, will moderate.

Webinar registration is available via Zoom to the first 500 people. The town hall will be live-streamed on the University Center for Teaching and Learning's YouTube channel.

Student Town Hall

Tuesday, July 28, 3-4 p.m

Panelists include Vice Provost and Dean of Students Kenyon Bonner; Vice Provost for Graduate Studies Amanda Godley; Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies Joseph McCarthy; Associate Dean and Director of Residence Life Steve Anderson; Executive Director of Global Engagement Belkys Torres; and John V. Williams, director of the COVID-19 Medical Response Office.

Staff Town Hall

Wednesday, Aug. 5, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Panelists include Scott Bernotas, associate vice chancellor for the Office of Facilities Management; Pete Chambers, director of shared research support services in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences; David DeJong, vice chancellor for human resources and acting senior vice chancellor for business and operations; Geovette Washington, senior vice chancellor, chief legal officer and executive sponsor of the Resilience Steering Committee; and John Williams, director of the COVID-19 Medical Response Office. Andy Stephany, associate administrator in the Vascular Medicine Institute and president of Staff Council will moderate.

Due to the anticipated participant turnout, panelists will be unable to answer every question during the live event. However, participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance via a Qualtrics survey.
