Functionality for Specifying Gender Pronouns in Canvas Now Available

Students, faculty and staff now have the option to specify their gender pronouns directly within the University’s Learning Management System (Canvas). Pronouns display alongside an individual’s username on select pages within Canvas, including Inbox, Discussions, User Navigation Menu, User Profile and User Settings. Separately, specify preferred pronouns in NameCoach for Canvas classes that use the “NameCoach Roster” page.
