From April 4-6, 2022, an evaluation team with representatives from peer Middle States institutions will virtually meet with over 250 faculty, staff, students, administrators and trustees to discuss the self-study submitted to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as part of Pitt’s accreditation process that began in 2020.

The self-study report demonstrates how Pitt meets the accreditation standards, requirements of affiliation and verification of compliance with accreditation-relevant federal regulations. The report was developed over the past two and a half years and included participation of more than 100 constituents representing every unit on all of Pitt’s campuses and feedback from interviews and surveys.

All members of the University community are welcome to attend the open sessions to participate in the process with members of the evaluation team. A Pitt email address is required for registration. The town hall sessions are organized by audience.
